Fading . . .

I am having a hard time out on the road without Tony and Leo.
This last purple flower of the fading summer is a good indicator of how I am feeling these days.

Still trying to fluff up my petals, but not doing such a good job . . .

Posts will be sporadic until we are all back in the truck and life makes me smile again.

Sorry it's so hard. How much longer until Tony gets the hardware off? Much love to you from Big Bend!

Good capture with a p&s. I saw your comment at PW and wanted to say I don't have a fancy camera either. Check out the pics on my blog, we can learn together :) It can be done with p&s possibly more trial and error but the more you take the better you get right! Happy shooting.

i know it's gotta be rough on you being out on your own....before i met brad and started teaming, i'd get so lonesome on the road alone sometimes....early evenings were the worst since i'd be in traffic knowing that everyone in the cars were headed home.......i hope it's not too much longer before tony is back on the truck with you...but until then, know that your readers and your trucking friends are thinking of you and here to hear if you need to vent....be safe
